Jeanette D. Wylie, 65, of 549 Green Lake Road, Rockingham, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Richmond Pines Health Care, Hamlet.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Green Lake Missionary Baptist Church, Rockingham, with Reverend Jerry McNeil officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be held from 1 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, at McLendon Funeral Home.

Wylie was born on Aug. 7, 1947, in Richmond County, to the late Morasby Covington and Emme L. Hailey Covington. She was a manufacturing worker at a paper company.

She is survived by a husband, John Wylie of the home, two daughters, Raven Johnson of Greensboro, Amy Wylie of Rockingham, son, Randy Wylie of Greensboro, four sisters, Annie McLendon of Ellerbe, Ernestine Mayzack of Ellerbe, Hattie Blanks of New Haven, Conn., Martha Nicholson of Rockingham, two grandchildren and one brother, Lewis Covington of Rockingham.

McLendon Funeral Home of Ellerbe, is assisting the family.
