Good. I don’t have much of a problem with consumers buying food that has been cloned, genetically altered or irradiated, but I think that people who are against these products should know whether or not they are eating something that has been altered.
Food that has been genetically engineered, cloned, irradiated or altered by nanotechnology should be labeled and better regulated by the government. Right now there are no warning labels for these food products.
If we really are what we eat, then we should be very careful with our food supply.

"Would you rather be sick or hungry?"
I'm willing to bet that they're going to say sick.
Anything we eat nowadays is altered. I mean how else could we have large, full-grown chickens in 12 weeks. This is not even mentioning the beed industry - all of the steroids and what not that they give the cows.
If you aren't aware of how slack the FDA is, there is actually an acceptable amount for insect parts in our chocolate. There are acceptable numbers of people that can be sick - or even die - from certain medications.
Is it playing God to feed people? Is it playing God to cure illnesses through medication?
the reality is you take a chance each time you eat anything(remember the peanut butter problems of 09)? people died but has anyone been held accountable for the food? NO so believing that the government requiring any label on food will make it safer is just a dream. people will find a way around the regulations or egnore them or just buy the labels the want from some type of blackmarket.so read the label and eat hardy but remember "Buyer beware!"
