Dear Editor,
This is a response to a letter that was written by one of our fine citizens in Richmond County. America, the land of the free and the home of the brave, is a place that I can and will call home. If it wasn’t for democracy Mr. Caudle, you wouldn’t be able to write your opinions on no one’s paper.
For citizens that call themselves Americans and throw rocks and jabs at other citizens because of their right to vote, is very well the same people that would like to take America back 100 years. The fabric of our society is built off of democracy, so if we choose to vote for who we want in office that is our right. You sound like America is done for because of the recent elections.
If you want to make America better maybe you should start by taking a look at yourself and see what you can do better to help our country. By the way, Romans were very smart and intelligent people, we still use what they used years ago to better America (i.e. Roman numerals, structures that are built to last). Try living in another country and then come back to America and see how beautiful this country of ours is.
