Melissa Gibson Burchett and David Lee Wall, both of Rockingham, announce their upcoming union and marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Melinda and Jessie McDowell of Rockingham, and the late Joseph and Cindy Gibson, formerly of Rockingham. She is currently employed with FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse and with Richmond Community College as a nursing assistant instructor. Burchett is a 1994 graduate of Richmond Senior High School, and a 2000 graduate of Richmond Community College with a associate’s degree in nursing.
The groom-elect is the son of Sandra Wall of Willow Springs, and Ronald and Jeanine Wall of Ellerbe. He is currently employed with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety as a correctional officer. Wall is a 1989 graduate of South Johnston High School, a 1991 graduate of Wake Technical Community College with a B.L.E.T. certification and a 2008 graduate of Richmond Community College with an Associate of Arts degree.
A wedding is planned for Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Outreach For Jesus in Hamlet.
