Ruben Carl “Squeezer” Wall Sr., 67, of Rockingham, died on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville.

Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at Kings Gate Church, Hwy 74, Hamlet. Rev. Walter E. McLeod will officiate.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 10 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, Rockingham. Family hour will be Saturday, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Philadelphia United Methodist Church, Rockingham.

Wall was born to the late Lynwood and Ellen Wall in Aliquippa, Pa., on Dec. 7, 1944. At an early age, he moved to Rockingham. Wall received his education from Richmond County Schools. He is preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Leak.

He is survived by his wife, Geanell Wall of Rockingham, five children, Richard Littlejohn (Virginia) of Trenton, N.J., Sherry Covington (Tom) of Fayetteville, Patty Ann Cameron of Trenton, N.J., Ruben Wall Jr. (Nigel) of Durham, Lemarcus Travers (Tasheka) of Mililani, Hawaii, fourteen grandchildren, four brothers, Lynwood Wall Jr. (Ollie Bell), Bunny Lee Wall (Barbara), Raymond Wall (Nell), John Wall (Gloria); two sisters, Maggie Elroy (Walter), Betty Brewington, a and host of other friends and relatives.

The family is being served by Nelson Funeral Service, Rockingham.
