A Rockingham business under new ownership is making itself at home at its new location at 2018 Fayetteville Road, according to the Richmond County Chamber of Commerce.
According to Chamber staff, Sunbelt was first located in the Midway Business Park on Industrial Park Drive in Rockingham.
The company was recently bought by the O’Neal family; Tommy, Wanda and Bryon. The O’Neals are from Ellerbe and Rockingham.
“Sunbelt is a wholesale distributor of janitorial, maintenance, and safety supplies and many types of paper products, chemicals and cleaning solutions,” said Chamber staff. “They serve all types of customers from big industries to churches to walk-ins. They also operate a service route and will deliver to your place of business.”
Their hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
“We are a family business catering to the local community,” said the O’Neal family. “Sunbelt is an established business in the community and we intend to build and grow upon that. We believe that small businesses maintain the local economy and provide good jobs. We are looking forward to being a staple in the community for many years to come.”
