Attention Richmond County Water Customers in the following areas:

Pleasant Hill Church Road and Cartledge Creek Road and all adjacent streets.

Richmond County Water Department will be working in the Pleasant Hill Church Road and Cartledge Creek Road areas on Tuesday, Oct. 30, to repair a water main. This work will necessitate cut-off of water service for at least four hours on a portion of Pleasant Hill Church road, a portion of Cartledge Creek Road, and all adjacent streets in this area. Water service will not be turned off any earlier than 8 a.m.

It is suggested that a bathtub be filled to provide water during the time of the water service cut-off. To prevent potential hot water heater damage, it is suggested that the hot water heater circuit breaker in your electrical entrance be turned off until water service has been restored. If the entrance panel uses fuses, simply remove the fuse.

In the event that inclement weather prevents completion of the work on Oct. 30, the work will be rescheduled for a later date to be announced.

Repairs will be made in a timely manner to avoid undue inconvenience and restore water service as quickly as possible.
