Edward Keith Conner, 49, of Westbrook Avenue, Ocean Isle, N.C., has been arrested for larceny and obtaining property by false pretense, in Brunswick County, on Sept. 6, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. Conner was placed in Richmond County Jail with a $10,000 secure bond.

In the same case, Rosario Thomas Alfeo, 22, of Marilyn Avenue, Rockingham, was arrested for larceny and obtaining property by false pretense, on Sept. 6, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He and Conner were charged for stealing assorted tools from the back of a truck parked on Spencer Road in Rockingham, said lawmen. The tools were recovered at local pawnshops where the two had pawned them, the Sheriff’s Office said. Alfeo was placed in Richmond County Jail with a $2,500 secure bond.

Tony Cameron Wright, 50, of Parker Street, Rockingham, was arrested for larceny and obtaining property by false pretense, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Wright was charged on Sept. 19, for the larceny of jewelry from a residence on Parker Street, and selling it at local pawnshops, said lawmen. He was released on his own recognizance to appear in court.

Bonner Lee Knight, 47, of Bynum Road, Rockingham, was arrested for obtaining property by false pretense on Sept. 21, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Knight was charged for selling a vehicle that did not belong to him at a local scrap yard, said lawmen. He was released on his own recognizance to appear in court.

Omer Ted Houssein, 26, of Shibui Gardens, Southern Pines, was arrested on two counts of felony worthless check on Oct. 2, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Houssein was charged for passing two checks that were returned from the bank insufficient funds, said lawmen. The checks totaled more than $25,000. He was arrested and placed in Richmond County Jail with a $30,000 secure bond.

Ryneem Ne’wan Evens, 17, of Taylor Place, Hamlet, was arrested for breaking and entering, injury to personal property and larceny after breaking and entering on Oct. 3, according the Sheriff’s Office. Evens allegedly broke into a residence on Channie McManus Drive in Dobbins Heights. Evens was place in the Richmond County Jail on a $2,500 secure bond.

Christine Ann LeBlanc, 49, of Holiday Village Apts., Rockingham, was arrested for selling/deliver a schedule IV substance on Sept. 27, according to the Sheriff’s Office. LeBlanc was charged for selling prescription pills to officers at a location in Rockingham, said lawmen. She was released on her own recognizance to appear in court.

Tracy Edward Sorrell, 68, of Griffin Road, Rockingham, was arrested for selling/deliver a schedule II substance and selling/deliver schedule III substance on Sept. 26, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Sorrell was charged for selling prescription pills to officers at a location in Rockingham, said lawmen. She was released on her own recognizance to appear in court.

Arrest reports published in the Richmond County Daily Journal are copied from local law enforcement records. Reports include both arrests and criminal summons such as citations. The Daily Journal lists them all as arrests. People charged are presumed innocent until determined to be guilty by a court of law.
