The Richmond County Board of Realtors presented a check from Richmond Political Action Committee to Democratic candidates Gene McLaurin running for N.C. Senate, and State Rep. Ken Goodman, running for reelection to the House of Representatives.

The funds in the amount of $4,000 for McLaurin and $2,500 for Goodman were presented at the monthly Board of Realtors meeting Wednesday in Rockingham. The funds are allocated at the state level for the Realtors Political Action Committee and distributed on a local level to representatives designated by the Richmond County Board of Realtors.

Both men are Rockingham businessmen. McLaurin is also mayor of Rockingham.
