Carlton Chambers, 69, of Rockingham, died, Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Rockingham Manor, with his wife by his side.

All services for Chambers will be private.

Chambers was born Aug. 18, 1943, in Taunton, Mass., son of Harold Carlton Chambers and Angela Godek Chambers. He formerly lived in Fayetteville. Chambers was a carpenter and worked previously for South West Carpenters Union, was a veteran of US Army, former MA Regional Director for Taunton Jay Cee’s and a member of Berean Baptist Church, Fayetteville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Harold Carlton Chambers and Angela Godek Chambers Zrebiec.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Anne Murphy Chambers; daughters, Kristi C. Kirkland of Taunton, Mass. and Kelley Roda of Bradenton, Fla.; son, Keith Chambers of Seoul, South Korea; brother, Frank Chambers of New Gloucester, Maine; and nine grandchildren.

Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
