U.S. Representative Larry Kissell (NC-08) has once again earned the endorsement of the National Rifle Association (NRA) in his campaign for Congress. Kissell received an “A” rating from the organization for his work on behalf of sportsman and gun owner rights.
The NRA cited Kissell’s strong and demonstrated commitment to Second Amendment rights, and his consistent pro-Second Amendment voting record on behalf of North Carolina’s gun owners, hunters and sport shooters, according to Kissell’s campaign office.
“I firmly believe in standing up for and protecting our Second Amendment rights,” said Kissell. “I’ll continue to fight each and every day to preserve our fundamental and constitutional right to bear arms. I’m proud to be a strong advocate for gun owners and sportsmen across this district, and I thank the NRA for their support once again.”
The NRA also endorsed Kissell in 2010, citing his strong voting record and work in the 111th Congress.
