Tuttle sworn in as Task Force officer

On Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Detective Kevin W. Tuttle was sworn in to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms as a Task Force Officer.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Tuttle was sworn in by Middle District U.S. Marshal Bill Stafford at the Federal Court House in Greensboro.

Tuttle will now have full authority as a federal agent and will be handling firearm violation cases in Richmond and surrounding counties.

He has 12 years of law enforcement experience and said he is excited about the new responsibility he is taking on. He added that he looks forward to getting out and working with other agencies and officers.
