Dear Editor,

I realize that some people do not want to hear anything about the Hebrew God whose name is Yahuwah, but I find it better to worship a God with a name than a God with no name. When I key in the original 1611 King James Bible on my computer I find Hebrew consonants for Yahweh at the top of the page. In the Layman’s Bible Dictionary I find at Jesus -Jezsus- the personal name of Christ. The name means, Yahweh is salvation, and was a common name in New Testament Times (Page 393). In the NIV Study Bible in the introduction notes it speaks of Gods infallible word to humanity. It also states that nothing people write about God’s word can be on a level with the word itself, it is the holy spirit alone, not fallible human beings, who can open the human mind to the sacred message.

It states he uses people like Stephen to explain his word to others as Stephen did to the Ethiopian eunuch. In the study notes in Genesis on Page 8, is the YHWH(YAHWEH). In the Scofield Study Bible it has Yahweh on Page 6 and in the Nelson Study Bible it has Yahweh in the study notes on Page 8. The New King James Study Bible yah and not jah is in Psalms 68-4, Isaiah 26-4, and Isaiah 12-2. In the dictionary index it has ‘Yahweh 199 times by my count, but I may have missed some out of its 303 pages. The index also translates the meanings of Hebrew words for instance, Hezekiah means Yahweh strengthens. Isaiah means Yahweh is salvation, Jeremiah means Yahweh establishes and Joshua and Jeshua mean Yahweh is salvation. Joseph means may Yahweh bless.
