Two students have been selected to represent Richmond Senior High School for North Carolina State's Park Scholarship. Pictured are Melissa Reel and Jacob Staub. The Park Scholarship is one of the most prestigious undergraduate merit
scholarships in the nation. The four-year award is valued at about $75,000 for North Carolina residents. A stipend for the purchase of a personal computer is also provided along with additional funding for academic enrichment activities, involving special trips, retreats, seminars and grant opportunities. The Park Scholarship was established in 1996, for the Late Roy H. Park, a 1931 NC State alumnus. These two students will advance to the next level of competition.
