Carl Scott, 83, of the Hermitage Retirement Center, Rockingham, died, Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 14, at Abundant Life Church, Rockingham, from 4 to 5 p.m., one hour prior to the Memorial Service beginning at 5 p.m., with Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating.
The family will be at the home of his niece, Mary Scott, 102 Marigold Street, Rockingham.
Scott was born in Chester County, S.C., on March 8, 1929, son of Benjamin Timmron Scott and Mary Elizabeth Arnette Scott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his late wife, Bernice Scott.
He is survived by his three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Scott family.
