Mary Lee Galloway Andrews
October 1, 1924 - September 1, 2012
Mary Lee Galloway Andrews, 87, went to be with her Lord and to be reunited with those who went before her on Saturday, September 1, 2012. She was born in Hamlet, North Carolina on the first day of October, 1924, and being a woman far ahead of her time, moved to Raleigh to pursue a career in the 1940’s. She met the love of her life, Clifton Andrews, and they created a beautiful life together for 63 years. During their 63 years together, they were blessed with two wonderful children, Jenny and Jo, and three lovely grandchildren, Andy, Leanne and Will.
Mary Lee will forever be remembered as being passionate about her Irish heritage, her church and God, and most of all, her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton, her daughter, Joanna French (Chuck), her sister, P.K. Kalevas, and her grandchildren, Andy Andrews (Christina), Leanne Minnick (Chauncey), and Will French.
