Laura Ferrell Walker, 76, of 106 Walker Lane, Hamlet, died, Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at her residence.
She was born October 10, 1935, in Logan County, W. V., daughter, of Charles Ferrell and Ella Myers Ferrell.
She was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church, Hamlet.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Fellowship United Methodist Church with Pastor Tony Joyner officiating.
Walker was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Ruby Soss and Charlotte Bryant.
Survivors include her husband, Don Walker of the home; daughters, Debbie Warner of Saybrook Township, OH, Joyice Rushing of Hamlet, Cindy Haffa of N. Fort Myers, FL. and Ruth Ann Balzer of Ashtabula Harbor, OH; sons, James Balzer of Payson, IL, and Charles Balzer of Jessup, IA; brothers, James Ferrell of W. Lafayette, IN., and Charles Ferrell of Mentor, OH; sisters, Sandra Knee of Weeki Wachee, FL, Phyllis Kippes of Louisville, KY, and Carolyn Webster of Painesville, OH; fifteen grandchildren; and thirty two great-grandchildren.
