Lee Glenn Wallace, 61, of 539 Hamer Mill Road, Rockingham died on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Rockingham, the son of Walter G. Wallace and Monnie L. Jackson Wallace. He attended Leak Street High School in Rockingham and furthered his education at A&T University in Greensboro. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

His parents and one niece preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Greater Diggs Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Rockingham with the Rev. Annie Bostick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sister, Jacqueline M. Wallace Patterson of Rockingham; brother, Ronald D. Wallace of Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Funeral services are being provided by Nelson Funeral Service of Rockingham. There will not be a family or viewing hour.
