Aaron Dixon Little, 68, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at his residence.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Church of Christ with the Rev. Dian G. Jackson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Aaron graduated from Mineral Springs High School and attended Richmond Tech where he received a degree in Business Administration. He served in the U.S. Army in Special Forces (Green Beret) and was employed with Richmond County Ambulance Service, a truck driver, N.C. Department of Correction, and as a medic in the N.C. National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; four children, Crystal, Bryan and Derrick Little of Durham and Johnathan Little of San Diego, Calif.; two step-children, Min. Nerissa Scruggs of Charlotte and Min. Brandon Davis of Rockingham; two sisters, Hettie May Little of Raleigh and Terry Lee Little; and a brother, William Harvey Little.
