James William Parton, 63, of 214 Poole Road, Rockingham, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Aug. 6, at 3 p.m. at The Church of God of Prophecy in Hamlet with Rev. Steve Crews officiating.
He was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Asheville, son of Lucille Parton. He was previously self employed as a brick mason.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Parton of the home; daughters, Shawn Falcon of Hendersonville and Crystal Howlett of Rockingham; sons, Jimmy Parton of Pensacola, Fla., Brian Parton of Roseman, Justin Parton of Brevard, Chad Holden of Rockingham and Brad Holden of Rockingham; five brothers, one sister; and twenty one grandchildren.
Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Parton Family.
