Youth in Richmond County are encouraged to attend a special back-to-school event in preparation for the upcoming Sandhill’s GO TELL Crusade.
The Back to School Refuel Youth event will be held at the Rockingham Church of God of Prophecy at 7 p.m. on Friday. The church is located at 139 Flowers St. in Rockingham.
Nic Jackson, youth pastor and youth team leader for the upcoming crusade, said the event was “designed to create momentum heading into the new school year, as well as a warm up to reach and inspire the youths in our community to attend the upcoming crusade at the Richmond Senior High stadium.”
The crusade will be held Sept. 16 through 19 beginning at 7 p.m. nightly.
