Throughout the month of August, Freedom Fitness in the Richmond Plaza Shopping Center in Rockingham will be hosting a school supply drive for students who are in need.
Anyone interested in joining the fitness center will have their enrollment fee waived for each new backpack that is brought in. The book bag must comply with the needs of the student for school purposes. Family enrollments will also be included; but a backpack must be provided for each family member joining.
Current Freedom Fitness members can participate by helping to stuff the backpacks with school supplies. Members who bring in at least five of the listed items on the Richmond County Schools Systems list of schools supplies, will receive $5 off their August membership fee.
