Robert Lee Deese, 77, of Hamlet died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at his home. He was born April 24, 1935 in Richmond County, a son of the late John W. and Dora Brigman Deese.

Mr. Deese retired from the Textile Industry and was a member of the Lighthouse Ministries Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Hamlet with Rev. Charles Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park.

Surviving, His wife of 47 years, Patricia Cooper Deese; Children, Jerri Stewart and husband David C. Stewart, Jr. and Jessica Parker and husband Shane. Grandchildren, Brittany and Corey Stewart and Gavin Parker; One sister.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet and at other times at his home 105 D&S Rd. Hamlet, NC 28345.
