Mercedes Rivera, 57, died Saturday, July 21, 2012, at UNC Hospital.
A funeral will be held Tuesday, July 24, at 6 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Thomas Weatherford performing the Eulogy.
Survivors include four children, Linda Quiros, Maria Oliveras, Mario Oliveras III and Angel Nelson; eight brothers, Danny, Santiago, Sixto, Hector, Jose, Juan, Tommy and Jorge; and four sisters, Chalia, Juanita, Jovita and Maria.
Nelson Funeral Service of Rockingham is assisting the family.
