Dear Editor,
Some ridicule, make fun of as in sport or derision, or laugh at things that they are unfamiliar with.
This behavior does not show that they have greater knowledge, it just means that they are unfamiliar with the concept. It also doesn’t mean they are stupid.
But “not stupid” and “facing facts readily” aren’t the same thing.
Maybe one doesn’t readily accept the facts presented in Scripture. But don’t reject it either and some of us don’t do “readily” as “readily” as others. Be willing to investigate and search.
We questioned everything, including what we had been taught all of our lives, and searched for answers with an open mind.
1 John 4:1-3: “Beloved ones, do not believe every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of Elohim, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of Elohim: every spirit that confesses that Yahushua Messiah has come in the flesh, and every spirit that does not confess that Yahushua Messiah has come in the flesh is not of Elohim…”
Isn’t there “some” rug we can sweep this under? Sure, but what are you going to do about that lump.
Just a suggestion: do some research on your own with an open mind. Go to: scribd.com/LoveObedience/documents and click on the Besorah on line and read the Scriptures and compare it to the bible and you will find they are quite similar. The main difference is in the names and names of places.
Don’t blindly reject everything just because it is different from what you have been taught. Do your own research and you may find that we have much in common.
Hebrews 8:8-12; Hebrews 10:16-17.

Remember the words of the Apostle Paul to Timothy and through him to all of us to "continue in the things we have learned and been assured of knowing the character of those that have taught us. If the Word of God was good enough for Peter, Paul, James and John and the rest of the Apostles and believers in the first century, it surely is good enough for you and me.
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:10-17 (KJV)
