Minister Victoria Stremcha will preach her initial sermon on Sunday during the regular morning service at Sidney Grove Church of Deliverance, at 401 McIntyre Road, Ellerbe.

Stremcha is from New Albany, Indiana. She was raised in Tucson, Arizona, and remained a long-time Tuscon resident until February 2010. She and her husband now reside in Pinehurst.

Stremcha has been a medical practice administrator for the last 20 years. During the same time-frame she served 14 years as an adjunct faculty member at Pima Community College and chaired the PCC Office Education Advisory Board. She remains active in several professional medical organizations, such as the Medical Group Management Association, the American College of Medical Practice Executives, Women in Healthcare and Association of Ob/Gyn Administrators.

“She joined our church about a year ago,” said Director of Christian Education Annie Buie. “She and her husband have been active members. She helps with education, youth ministry, the youth choir and vacation Bible school. She is in classes in Greensboro. She is training for the ministry. She loves people and her church family. She does not complain. She does whatever you ask of her. It’s just a blessing to have her in our community.”

The regular morning service will be held at 11:30 a.m.
