Hamlet Police Department - arrests, complaints for July 12, 2012

The Hamlet Police Department recently made the following arrests:

• Lea Christine Hasonna Wall, 20, 409 E. Columbia Ave., Hamlet, was arrested for larceny of a motor vehicle. She was placed under a $2,000 secure bond.

• Winford Thomas Dawkins, 18, 734 W. Hamlet Ave., Hamlet, was arrested for assault on a female. No bond was issued.

• Jameshia Michelle Baker, 20, 708 Ridge Drive, Hamlet, was arrested for failure to return property. Bond was set at $500.

• Tommy Michael Faircloth, 41, 137 Gathings St., Hamlet, was arrested for DWI, helmet and driving left of center.

• Travonne Devon Jones, 18, 149 Page St., Hamlet, was arrested for robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree kidnapping and felonious larceny.

Other recent reports from the Hamlet Police Department include:

• Attempted rape, damage to personal property and communicating threats were reported at a residence on McArthur Street.

• Felonious larceny was reported at a residence on Spring Street.

• Breaking and entering a motor vehicle and felony larceny were reported in a parking lot on King Street.

• Larceny was reported at a business on Cheraw Road.

• Misdemeanor larceny was reported at a medical center on West Hamlet Avenue.

• Misdemeanor larceny was reported at a residence on Pine Street.

• Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported at a residence on Thomas Street.

• Simple assault and assault on a female were reported at a residence on Jones Street.

• Misdemeanor larceny was reported at a residence on Myrtle Avenue.

• Larceny of a bike was reported at a residence on Buttercup Drive.

• Breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering were reported at a residence on Hamlet Lake Court.

• Injury to personal property was reported at a residence on Locust Street.

• Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on Spring Street.

• Injury to real property was reported at a retail establishment on Raleigh Street.
