Mr. William “Bo” Carroll Moss, 69, of 108 Sky Run, Rockingham, died suddenly, Monday, July 9, 2012, at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.
He was born November 25, 1942, in Richmond County, son of George “Buck” McKeithan Moss, Sr.and Lottie Huggins Moss.
He was owner and operator of Moss Brothers Tires and a veteran of US Army 82nd Airborne.
Visitation will be at Mount Carmel Free Will Baptist Church, Rockingham, Friday, July 13, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 am with the Funeral beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park, Rockingham.
Mr. Moss is preceded in death by his late parents; and brothers, Sam Moss and Chester Moss.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Nash Moss of the home; daughters, Lori Moss Hicks and husband, Byron of Winston Salem and Dana Moss Almengor and husband Marco of Winterville; son, William Moss, Jr. and wife Christy of Hamlet; granddaughters, Haley and Rachael Allen, Mayden, Marley and Mattie Moss; step-granddaughters, Lauren and Kadie Hicks; and brother, George M. Moss “Skeet” of Florida.
“Bo” loved spending time with his grandchildren; making people laugh, working in his flowers, landscaping and feeding birds; he loved all wildlife.
