RICHMOND COUNTY SCAM JAM is a free event that will be held at Richmond Community College, Cole Auditorium, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21. Learn how to protect yourself, your assets and your personal information from various scams. Presentations by AARP, Attorney General’s Office, N.C. Senior Medicare Patrol Program, N.C. Secretary of State’s Office and your local Sheriff’s’s office. A shred truck will also be on-site to safely dispose of your personal information.
