Dear Editor,

Approximately two weeks ago I was traveling on Roberdell Road when my car suddenly stopped.

As I was waiting for my son to arrive, three gentlemen stopped and assisted me.

I would like to thank Mr. Tommy Voss, Mr. Larry Rishel and a young man who was with Mr. Rishel for stopping and assisting me during my distress.

Along with my son, all three remained with me until the wrecker arrived to tow away my car.

I’m very pleased to know that in today’s uncertain world, the kindness of strangers is still very prevalent. Thank you again for your help.

Betty M. Snow

I believe that many good samaritans live in richmond county, some are churched, they go to a building and that makes them churched, but was the good samaritan saved???HAD the ones who passed the man in need by accepted the Messiah???The scripture leaves a lot of Questions unanswered.Every church has only a handful that will go when needed, the rest only fill a pew and any preacher will testify to this. But how many preachrs go with the few to do the hard work?Saul said I labored more than all.The deciples ate corn that did not belong to them along with the Messiah but it all actually belonged to the Messiah,he made it.He rode on a Donkey as a King would. He sweated as drops of blood. Some preachers I see need to sweat,it would eliminate their weight problem. Not trying to be mean, only pointing out a few biblical facts as the Messiah did.A nice LADY got the help she deserved, more people should be as these men were, churched or not. Many masons go to church and are good samaritans, but the preacher says they are a cult, why if they have accepted the Messiah??
