SANFORD — The Richmond Senior basketball team went 4-1 in the Lee County Shootout last weekend.
After opening with two victories on Friday, the Raiders knocked off Southern Lee 59-51 in their first contest Saturday. Richmond fell to East Wake 68-65 before rebounding to cruise past Voyger Academy 73-31.
“It was good because I was able to put people in different situations,” Richmond coach David Laton said. “We weren’t at full strength for any of the games this weekend.”
