Hillside Florist, on 216 E. Franklin Street, Rockingham, has been chosen as Chamber Member of the Month by the Richmond County Chamber of Commerce.
Myrtle Chalk became the owner of Hillside Florist after the retirement of Vincent and Emma Belle Doolittle in the early 1970s. Her children, Chuck Wright and Jenny Thompson, have also worked with her since acquiring the business. Other employees are Sally Wright, Ron Jones, and Meg Pleasants.
“We wish to take this opportunity to thank the residents of Richmond County for all their support through the years,” said Chalk.
