Ron and Mollie Partin of Rockingham recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married June 9, 1962.
Mollie is retired from the Daily Journal and Ron is retired from Trane/Industrial Sheet.
They have two children, Jacky Partin of Rockingham and Kim Oneal of Troutman. The couple also has five grandchildren.
A celebration was held June 2, 2012, at Southern Prime in Southern Pines where several family members attended. The Partins’ son, Jacky, and granddaughter, Jessica Partin Stedman, furnished a beautiful 2-tiered gold ribbon trimmed cake for the celebration. There were many heart felt speeches and congratulations given by attendees.
