Neal Baker Jr., 66, 172 Fifth St., Hamlet, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Moore Regional Hospital.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with the Pastor, Rev. Annette Covington, officiating. Burial will follow at Mary Love Cemetery in the Beaver Dam community.
The family will receive friends at 172 Fifth St., Hamlet. No visitation will be held at the funeral home.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Mary Baker of the home; two daughters, Tamellia Childs of Raleigh and Latasha Baker of the home; his mother, Irene Baker of Blenheim, S.C.; three brothers, William Baker of Hamlet, Marion Baker of Latta, S.C., and Kevin Baker of San Francisco, Calif.; and a sister, Wanda B. Williams of Savannah, Ga.
Nelson Funeral Service of Hamlet is assisting the family.
