Constance Worth Melton, of 17 Linden St., Morristown, N.J., passed away Monday, June 18, 2012, at the Morrisview Heathcare Center.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 23, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 10 Martin Luther King Avenue, Morristown, N.J., with Pastor James M. Carter Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Heavenly Rest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.

Constance was a native of Richmond County, daughter of the late Benjamin and Fannie Gales Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late George T. Melton.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and served in the United States Armed Services (WAC - WWII). She retired from Picatinny Arsenol. Constance was a member of the Bethsaida Chapter Number 7 Order of the Eastern Star (Past Worthy Matron) and the American Legion Post 312 (Past Post Commander).

Survivors include many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
