Ogreeta Thompson Sutton, 100, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation in Asheboro.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Sutton was born April 7, 1912, in Roanoke Rapids to William and Jenny Bain Thompson. She grew up in Hamlet and was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Lee Sutton, and son, Jim Sutton.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy S. Hale of Asheboro; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
