The Prezell Robinson Scholars Program is a mentoring program for designated students in low wealth counties to foster their commitment to teaching in North Carolina Public Schools. The N.C. teacher recruitment program also provides mentoring and support for these scholars throughout high school. The program increases the likelihood that the students will be accepted into and complete approved teacher education programs. Upon graduation from high school, Robinson scholars will pursue a program of study leading to teacher licensure.
