Hamlet Police Department - arrests, complaints for June 16, 2012

The Hamlet Police Department recently arrested Jerry Neal Sweeney, 34, of 301 Ponderosa Drive, Hamlet, for resisting a public officer. He was placed under a $1,000 bond.

In an unrelated case, Johnnie Wayne Cummings, 50, of 10320 Gum Swamp Lake Road, Marston, was arrested for worthless check. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.

Priscilla Ann Love, 46, of 108 Devos Drive, Rockingham, was arrested for failure to appear - simple affray and showing cause.

John Benson Cole, 49, 406 7th Avenue N., Myrtle Beach, S.C., was arrested for felony larceny. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Injury to personal property was reported at a retail establishment on Front Street.
