William Dylan Hale of York, S.C., has graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.

Hale was awarded the Faculty Scholarship Award during winter graduation ceremonies for the highest GPA in biology. He also received The Martin Award as the most distinguished graduate in biology and The Biological Sciences Faculty Award during the Outstanding Senior Recognition Ceremony held on April 13, 2012 by the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences.

Hale plans to attend Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif., in the fall of 2012 to pursue a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology.

Dylan is the son of Frank and Vickie Hale of York, S.C., and the grandson of Pat Goodman and the late Bill Goodman of Rockingham, and Ted and Lenore Hale, also of Rockingham.
