“American Idol” will be in Charlotte looking for season 12 contestants on Sunday, June 17, and Monday, June 18 and Tuesday, June 19.
Registration will take place around the clock, starting at 7 a.m. on Sunday and ending at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
Participants should start the line on the Trade Street Plaza.
Registration and auditions will be held at the Time Warner Cable Arena, located at 333 East Trade St., Charlotte.
Auditions, for those who registered on Sunday or Monday, will take place on Tuesday, June 19.
Registration forms are available on the “American Idol” website.
There is no overnight camping allowed. Large items (lawn chairs, blankets, etc.) brought to registration and/or auditions will not be allowed inside the arena. There will be food and beverages available for purchase on site, along with restroom access outside.
Other audition locations for season 12 will be held in: San Antonio, Texas; Newark, N.J.; Chicago, Ill.; New Orleans, La.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Los Angeles, Calif.
