Dear Editor,
My apologies to the JROTC program at Richmond Senior High School. The school DID send an invitation to AMVETS Post 316 to participate in the 2012 awards presentations.
Unfortunately, the invitation to Post 316 came in mail that was not checked by the person responsible in time for participation.
The person receiving the invitation discarded it and told no one including the post commander it had been received.
I’m sure Post 316 would like to participate in the 2013 awards presentations, and assist the JROTC program at any time in any way possible.
