Nancy J. Hunt, 82, of 126 High St., Ellerbe, passed away May 31, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 6 at 3 p.m. at Sidney Grove Church of Deliverance with Bishop Arlester Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Saron Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held at McLendon Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 5, from 1:30 to 7 p.m.
Mrs. Hunt was born Jan. 30, 1930, in Richmond County, daughter of the late Ernest Green and Susie McLean Green. She worked in textiles.
She is preceded in death by five sons, her husband, and one brother.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Ewing of the home and Addie Robinson of Ellerbe; a son, Robert Hunt of Ellerbe; two brothers, Alexander Green and Larry Green of Durham; six sisters, Willie M. Brown, Ronetta Hendrix, Barara Addison, Hattie Green, Catherlean Phillips and Thelma Green, all of Durham; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
