Mrs. Judy Frye Patrick, 58, of 304 Freeman Mill Road, Hamlet, died, Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Duke University Hospital.

She was born September 24, 1953, in Richmond County.

She previously worked as a medical assistant for Dr. George Veasy.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 4:00-5:00 pm, one hour prior to the service , at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

A Memorial Service will be held immediately after visitation at 5:00 pm , with Rev. Jerry Wayne Shaw officiating.

She is preceded in death by her late parents, Cornelius Sweatt and Opel Therrell Sweatt; and a son, Gregory Donald Covington.

She is survived by her husband, John Patrick of the home; daughter, Angie Patrick Cooper and husband Mark of Hamlet; granddaughter, Autumn Cooper of Hamlet; brothers, Larry Sweatt of Rockingham and Randy Sweatt of Arizona; and sisters, Ginjo Sweatt and Debra Sweatt both of Florida.
