Hamlet Police Department - arrests, complaints for June 2, 2012

The Hamlet Police Department recently arrested Chad Tyler, 40, 123 Hamlet Lake Court, Hamlet, for second degree trespassing and communicating threats. Bond was set at $1,000.

In an unrelated case, Victor Brian Evans, 37, 172 Haywood Cemetery Road, Rockingham, was arrested for felony larceny, injury to personal property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was placed under a $17,000 secure bond.

• KistienLynn Martin, 29, 217 McArthur Drive, Rockingham, was arrested for second degree trespassing, injury to real property and driving without license/registration. Bond was set at $2,000.

• Gregory James Little, 40, 209 Louis Breeden Blvd., Hamlet, was arrested for assault on a female. No bond was issued.

• Matthew Howard, 27, 1820 James St., Durham, was arrested for breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny from a motor vehicle and injury to real property. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Charles Garland Quick, 49, 403 Dennis St., Hamlet, was arrested for driving while impaired. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.

• Artney Jamel Ellerbe, 25, 720 Taylor Place, Hamlet, was arrested for second degree trespassing. He was placed under a $500 secure bond.

• Breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle were reported in a parking lot on West Hamlet Avenue.

• Breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle were reported at a residence on Spring Street.

• Obtaining property by false pretenses was reported at a bank on Raleigh Street.

• Injury to personal property was reported in a parking lot on Hamlet Lake Court.

• Injury to real property was reported at a residence on East Columbia Street.

• Breaking and entering was reported at a church on High Street.

• Larceny from a motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny were reported in a parking lot on Jefferson Street.

• Obtaining property by false pretenses was reported at a convenience store on King Street.

• Misdemeanor larceny as reported at a residence on Louis Breeden Boulevard.

• Attempted breaking and entering was reported at a residence on Hylan Avenue.

• Breaking and entering a motor vehicle and larceny were reported in a parking lot on Wilmington Street.

• Breaking and entering and injury to real property were reported at a residence on Piney Point.

• Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on Spring Street.

• Common law robbery was reported on a roadway at Wilmington and Pine streets.

• Possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana was reported at a business on East Spring Street.

• Injury to personal property was reported in a parking lot on Quail Hollow.

• Attempted common law robbery and assault on a female were reported in front of a residence on Pine Street.

• Injury to real property and first degree trespassing were reported at a residence on Spring Street.

• Assault on a female was reported at a residence on Louis Breeden Boulevard.

• Breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny from a motor vehicle and injury to real property were reported on a roadway at McDonald Avenue and Rice Street.
