The Woman's Club of Hamlet held its annual awards ceremonies at the May meeting. From left, Cathey Thomas, president, presented awards to Nell Brown, Best Working Member; Juanita Harris, Clubwoman of the Year; Pat Maloney, Inspiration to the President; and Linda Ham, Best Nonworking Member. Not pictured, awards were assigned to Beth Ritter, Best Overall Department for Home Life; and Jane Gaddy, Best New Member. The Club has a hiatus on meetings for the summer, but a number of Club projects are on-going throughout the year.
