Mrs. Patricia Long McDonald, 67, of 360 Graham Bridge Road, Rockingham, died, Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Richmond Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Hamlet.
She was born October 30, 1944 in Scotland County, daughter of Lester Clayborne Long and Irene Penny Long.
Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker and a mother. She also was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, May 21, 2012 at McDonald Baptist Church, from 6:00-8:00 pm
At other times the family will receive friends at the home of her son and daughter-in-law at 350 Graham Bridge Road, Rockingham.
The Funeral will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at McDonald Baptist Church at 3:00 pm with Rev. David Sparks and Rev. Alex Perakis officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lester Long, Jr.; and sister, Margaret L. Brigman.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Marshall McDonald of the home; daughters, Amy McDonald and Ashley Hardee both of Rockingham; Roy M. McDonald, Jr. “Mark” and wife Stephanie of Rockingham; son-in-law, Randy J. Brigman of Rockingham; and three grandchildren, Reagan Brigman, Trey McDonald and Ava Corsino.
