She was born in Richmond County, August 2, 1957, a daughter of the late Arthur and Johnsie Boone Bowman. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Shepherd Chapel.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Pastor Ricky Jacobs officiating. Burial will be private.
She is survived by her husband Robert Erby of the home; one son David Erby of Rockingham and one daughter, Robyn E. Drigger of Rockingham, and two sisters, Yvonne B. Crenshaw and Sue B. Blakely of Raeford.
The family will receive friends following the service.
