Hamlet Police Reports - arrests, complaints for May 5, 2012

The Hamlet Police Department recently made the following arrests:

• Alexis Gibson, 17, 1606 E. Washington St., Rockingham, was arrested for injury to personal property and D.V. protective order violation. No bond was issued.

• Fantasia Hubbard, 20, 210 High St., Hamlet, was arrested for injury to personal property. She was released on a written promise to appear in court.

• Arthur Wayne Smith, 47, 179 Morrow St., Hamlet, was arrested for possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana. He was placed under a $2,000 secure bond.

• Cindy Kaye Caulder, 32, 178 Lear St., Cordova, was arrested on two charges of failure to appear. She was placed under a secure bond of $5,000.

Other recent reports of the Hamlet Police Department include:

• Larceny was reported at a residence on Whitlock Avenue.

• Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a building on Charlotte Street.

• Larceny was reported at a storage unit on Myrtle Avenue.

• Carrying a concealed weapon, driving without license/registration and possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana was reported on a roadway at Wiregrass Road and Washington Avenue.

• Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on Fieldcrest Lane.

• Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on Jefferson Street.

• Larceny of a bicycle was reported on Marlboro Street.

• Injury to real property was reported at an apartment complex on Sierra Avenue.

• Breaking and entering a motor vehicle and larceny from a motor vehicle were reported at a residence on 3rd Street.

• Damage to real property was reported in a parking lot on Raleigh Street.

• Damage to real property was reported in a parking lot on Washington Avenue.

The Daily Journal lists them all as arrests. People charged are presumed innocent until determined to be guilty by a court of law.
