A workshop designed for non-profit executive directors, board members and development directors who are interested in learning more about effective financial management tools and controls will be offered at the Cole Auditorium on the RCC campus on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The free workshop is designed to help non-profits learn more about sound business practices, in addition to tax and regulatory compliance.

The afternoon portion of the workshop will be devoted to development, marketing and communication strategies to successfully establish and promote a planned giving program. The focus will be on how to integrate planned giving without adding staff or spending money on advertising. Participants will leave with a list of simple strategies for launching a planned giving campaign.

Registration for the event begins at 10:45 a.m. Cole Auditorium is located at 1042 W. Hamlet Ave., in Hamlet.

To register, sign up online at www.fftc.org/Richmond Workshop or register by phone with Becky Smith at 704-973-4520.
