A goat keeper is on the lookout for a dog that killed a goat, said Capt. J. K. Glidewell, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
The goat was in a field on Craig Street, Cordova.
She was pregnant and valued at $250.

n At a house on Jaybird Drive, Rockingham, someone did $845 damage to 13 windows of a mobile home by breaking them and $20 damage to dry wall.
n At a house on Church Street, Rockingham, someone stole $400 worth of personal property.

n On Wiregrass Road, Rockingham, a woman called the sheriff’s office to report that she was assaulted by her boyfriend.

Arrests by the Hamlet Police Department include:
n Carlos Maurice Pemberton, 27, Oakland Avenue, Hamlet, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of communicating threats and injury to personal property. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
n Charles Brandon Chappell, 20, Marston, was arrested on a felony charge of a drug violation involving Clonazepam. Bond was set at $5,000.
n Brandon Jah’Mei Covington, 21, Pine Street, Hamlet, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of larceny, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and giving an illegal substance to a minor. His bond was set at $1,000.
n Joshua Anthony Graham, 17, Hamlet, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of simple assault. Bond was set at $1,000.
n Ebony Harrington, 26, Railroad Street, Hamlet, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespass. She was released on a written promise to appear in court.
n Phillip Wall, 36, Carr Street, Hamlet, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of misdemeanor breaking and entering and first-degree trespassing. Bond was set at $2,000.

Incidents reported to Hamlet police include:
n A counterfeit $100 bill was found in a deposit being made by a store on West, Hamlet Avenue, Hamlet.
n At a store on Gin Mill Road, Hamlet, someone did $150 damage to a glass door and stole $3 worth of blunt cigars and an unknown amount of candy bars.
n Police are investigating an arson attempt at a storage building at a residence on Louis Breeden Boulevard, Hamlet.
n A business on West Hamlet Avenue was broken into causing $100 damage to a door, and a handgun valued at $150 was stolen along with $105 worth of other property.
n At a house on Louis Breeden Boulevard someone cut all four tires on three vehicles causing $l,050 damage.
n Someone broke into a house on Alley Street, Hamlet, and stole $220 worth of property.
n A man on Pam Street, Hamlet, told police someone for the second time has used his Social Security number to obtain employment, and $2,946 worth of income ended up on his IRS W-2 Form which he did not receive.
n On Freeman Mill Road, Hamlet, someone stole a $150 trash can.
n A man broke into a house on Ellen Drive, Hamlet, causing $75 damage to a door and assaulted a resident.
n A suspect did $1,000 damage to a vehicle on Columbia Avenue, Hamlet, in an attack with a bat and knife.
n On Williams Street, Hamlet, someone broke into a house through a window and stole $1,000 worth of property which included a computer.
